After another highly successful season in 2008 the Port Macquarie
Pirates have fired the first shot across the bow of their opponents for 2009
with the signing of English forward Mike Myerscough. The signing is a coup for
new coach Nathan Gargiulo as the Pirates embark upon their quest to make
it three Mid North Coast Rugby Championships in a row. And with 15 premiership
trophies already in the clubhouse the signs are already looking good for a 16
th, with several other new players having already arrived at the
home of rugby at Stuart Park.
